If I Only Could...
All the roads we have to walk are winding
and all the lights that lead the way are blinding
There are many things that I would like to say to you, but I don't know how.
Maybe you're gonna be the one that saves me…

Lost
by Red
Can I be dreaming once again?
I'm reaching, helpless I descend
You're leading deeper through this maze
I'm not afraid
I'm lost in you everywhere I run
Everywhere I turn I'm finding something new
I'm lost in you something I can't fight
I cannot escape
I can spend my life lost in you. Lost in you...
Your whispers fill these empty halls
I'm searching for you as you call
I'm bracing, chasing after you
I need you more
I'm lost in you everywhere I run
Everywhere I turn I'm finding something new
I'm lost in you something I can't fight
I cannot escape
I can spend my life lost in you.
I could never be the same here
Something that I could never arise
I could never look away
I lost myself in you.
It's all over now. -
Possession
Breathe Me
by Sia
Help, I've done it again
I have been here many times before
Hurt myself again today
And the worst part is there's no one else to blame
be my friend
hold me
wrap me up
unfold me
I am small
and needy
warm me up
and breathe me

Eros
I did this drawing for the Inner Beauty Contest being put on by a member at DeviantArt. (It won Honorable Mention)
Plato defined eros as something felt for a person--not necessarily physical attraction--but with contemplation it becomes an "appreciation of the beauty within that person." Eros helps the soul recall the knowledge of beauty and contributes to an understanding of spiritual truth.
Love is what draws us out and makes us beautiful. My husband has shown me how amazing eros love can be and I dedicate this image to him.
I saw this photo here and knew it was the one I had to use for reference. I was gracefully given permission by the model, Alper Ergin.

Jade
This one stewed in my head for a while before I got it on paper completely. I'm so glad I took my time with it. I'm very pleased with how it turned out.
-
Window
My first charcoal attempt (with a little pastel and colored pencil in there). She's another eye study.
-
Pretence
Another experiment in graphite/color combo.
-
Violet Eyes
A sort of experiment. I think I found a new style to fall in love with. I really like the effect of mingling the colored pencil and the graphite.

My Little Becca
This is a sketch I did for my new little grand niece, Rebecca, for her first birthday. She's a little angle and was so fun to sketch.
